ADVENTURE VIETNAM TOUR (Saigon, Cu Chi, Mekong, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Buon Ma Thuot) 19 days - 18 nights

Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
Arrival in Saigon. Transfer to the hotel. First encounter with the bustling city. Enjoy the last time of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Saigon (City Tour)
In the morning we starts the adventure Vietnam tour by exploring the city partly on foot, partly on cyclos: Notre Dame Cathedral, Main Post Office, City Hall, Ben Thanh Market. We have lunch together with the kids of the Cau Kho Youth Centre (founded by a French Dominican monk). The home for street kids shows us another side of Vietnam. After lunch we visit the War Museum.

Day 3: Cu Chi tunnels
Today’s program takes us to Cu Chi, the tunnel systems of the Vietcong. Our diner at the Royal Court will be accompanied by a traditional music and dance performance.

Day 4: Cholon - My Tho (Mekong Delta)
In the morning we explore Cholon, the Chinese quarter of Ho Chi Minh City. Here we visit the old Chinese temple Thien Hau and Binh Tay Market. Then we travel to My Tho, a small friendly town at the upper Mekong. Here starts our four-hour trip to the fruit gardens on the Thoi Son Peninsula. We stay at Chuong Duong Hotel** with its romantic location on the river bank.

Day 5: My Tho - Vinh Long - Can Tho
The adventure Vietnam tour continue with a short bus trip to Vinh Long. Here we browse through the biggest vegetable and fruit market in the Mekong Delta. We continue our river tour with a small boat to Can Tho, for many the most beautiful town in the Mekong Delta. We stay in Can Tho.

Day 6: Can Tho - Saigon
In the early morning, a sampan boat brings us to the floating market of Cai Rang. Later on, we explore the narrow channels of the lower Mekong and visit a rice factory. The return bus trip will be in the early afternoon. Hotel in Saigon.

Day 7: Saigon - Danang
We fly Vietnam Airlines to Danang. After a visit of the Cham Museum, a bus takes us to Hoi An, the ancient port town of the Cham. Hotel check-in.

Day 8: Hoi An
Walking the old city: Japanese Bridge, merchants houses from the 16th and 18th century, wood craft shops, Chinese temples, community houses and a silk spinning factory ( Hoi An is widely known as having the best tailors). In the afternoon, we go on an entertaining river tour to Kim Bong Island (known for having the best wood carvers) and visit the pottery village Thanh Ha.

Day 9: Hoi An
By bicycle or motorbike we go to the nearby beach. A day to relax.

Day 10: My Son (In the Lands of the Cham)
Day trip to My Son, the holy temple compound of the ancient Cham Kingdom. Return trip by boat. In the evening we witness a concert of the Cham people.

Day 11: Marble mountains
Tour to the marble mountains. After a steep hike we enjoy the fantastic view of the four Marble Mountains and China Beach. Visit to the Rock Pagoda. In the afternoon: free time

Day 12: Danang - Nha Trang
Bus trip to Danang. Here we board the “Reunification Express” train that brings us in ten hours to Nha Trang. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 13: Nha Trang

Day 14: Nha Trang - Islands Boat Trip
We pick you up from your hotel to go to the habour to get the boat. First we go to coral island for fishing, snorkelling and swimming. There are many beautiful fish and lovely coral to see while eating fresh fruits. Next we go to Con Se Tre where we have a delicious lunch of seafood. After lunch, You can relax and sunbathe on a deck chair in a hut or on the beach while drinking Vietnamese coffee. We return to the harbour where the bus awaits to bring you back to your hotel

Day 15: COUNTRYSIDE + WATERFALL + HOT SPRING + hiking  
( CULTURAL TOUR by private air conditioned car →  : Amitabha Buddha statue at a height of 68 meters, Rice paper making,Conical hat making, Waterfall 48km from Nha Trang. Enjoy the feeling of crocodile fishing - wild bear feeding with pumpkin - canary bird feeding - Pig racing - Ostrich riding. Lunch with Crocodile or Ostrich meat. Relaxation in hot mineral water at the Hot Spring )

Day 16: Nha Trang River Cruise
( SIGHTSEEING - CULTURAL TOUR by river boat, special tuk tuk → Ponagar Temples, Sedge Mat Weaving, Pagoda Orphanage, Ancient house, Lunch at a riverside restaurant )

Day 17: Central Highlands Dac Lac
In the early morning we depart by bus to the Highlands. The interesting journey goes along the coast of the South China Sea. On our way we visit coffee and pepper plantations. Our main destination is a minority village at the Lak Lake. Impressive canoe tour on the lake. In the late afternoon we discover the Virgin Waterfall. We stay at the bungalow compound or at a traditional longhouse of the local population.

Day 18: Buon Ma Thuot - Saigon
In the morning, we climb on elephants. They bring us through the jungle from the Virgin to the D’Ray Waterfall. Here we meet the bus again. A long and entertaining bus trip through the impressive mountain scenery to Saigon. Arrival in Saigon in the late evening. Hotel in Saigon.

Day 19: Saigon - Return Home
Free time. Airport transfer. Return flight home. End our Adventure Vietnam Tour.
